Club 55 Board Members Represent the Center at Local Community Events

Club 55 Senior Center is proud to be making new connections and strengthening relationships throughout the community. Recently, Board President Carol Burrows and Vice President Mary Ann Zwaska represented Club 55 at two local events focused on community, wellness, and connection.
FORT HEALTH "WOMEN WHO CARE" DINNER
Carol and Mary Ann attended the Fort Health “Women Who Care” dinner, a lively Hawaiian-themed evening featuring steel drum music, a silent auction, and an inspirational speaker. The event provided a wonderful opportunity to meet others who care deeply about supporting health, wellness, and quality of life in our area. For Club 55, it was also a valuable chance to share more about our work, our new building, and the growing opportunities we are creating for older adults in the community.
AMERICAN HEART ASSOCIATION
Club 55 was also honored to receive an invitation to the American Heart Association of Dane County Black Tie Ball in Madison. Mary Ann attended on behalf of Club 55 and represented the important pillar of community accessibility.
Community accessibility is at the heart of what Club 55 is working to provide. Through resources such as our self-serve blood pressure kiosk, Club 55 is helping bring heart health support closer to where people live, gather, and connect. The kiosk gives individuals an easy way to monitor their blood pressure and better understand their heart health between doctor visits. This simple but meaningful resource can empower people to take a more active role in their health and support more informed conversations with their healthcare providers.
As Club 55 continues to grow, we are grateful for opportunities to build partnerships and highlight the important role senior centers play in community wellness. These events were a wonderful reminder that connection, accessibility, and preventive health are all part of helping older adults live well.
Thank you to Carol and Mary Ann for representing Club 55 and helping share our mission throughout the community.
